Swim Lessons

We help swimmers conquer their fears, boost their confidence in the water, and develop lifelong skills.

Certifications

Pool Policy

  1. Shower Before Entering: Please shower before using the pool.
  2. Walk on the Deck: Always walk on the pool deck; running is not allowed.
  3. Swim Attire: Proper swim attire (swimsuits) is required. Cut-offs or gym shorts are not acceptable.
  4. Swim Diapers: Non-potty trained individuals must wear swim diapers. Disposable diapers are prohibited.
  5. Health Restrictions: Bathers with diarrhea, skin diseases, open lesions, etc., are not allowed in the pool.
  6. Entering the Pool: Always enter the water facing forward without flipping.
  7. No Diving: Diving is prohibited in water less than 9 feet deep.
  8. Changing Rooms: Children 4 years old and older should use the appropriate gender locker rooms with adult supervision or the designated family changing area.
  9. Behavior: Foul language, public displays of affection, and inappropriate behavior are not allowed.
  10. No Food or Drinks: Chewing gum, eating, and drinking in the pool area are prohibited. Glass containers are not allowed.
  11. Pets: No pets allowed in the pool area (service animals only).
  12. Floatation Devices: Inflatable floatation devices are allowed only at the guard’s discretion.
  13. Pool Equipment: Stay off lane ropes, lifelines, and ladders.
  14. Breath Holding: Prolonged underwater swimming and breath holding are prohibited.
  15. Rough Play: Pushing, dunking, rough play, and fighting are prohibited.
  16. Whistle Signals: If a whistle blows, STOP-LOOK-LISTEN to the lifeguards.
  17. Supervision: Children 9 and under must always have an adult present on the pool deck.
  18. Adult Supervision in Water: Children 3 and under must have an adult in the water with them within arm’s reach.
  19. Lifeguard Authority: Lifeguards have the final authority in the pool area and can remove anyone acting unsafely or creating dangerous situations.

Swim Test Requirements

All swimmers aged 13 or younger must take a swim test to swim in the deep end.

The test includes:

  1. Swimming 25 yards freestyle without stopping or grabbing the lane line.
  2. Treading water or floating for 30 seconds.

If a child fails the swim test, they must wear a USCG-approved PFD and remain in shallow water.

Inclement Weather Policy

For safety reasons, the entire pool area will be closed at the first sight of lightning or sound of thunder, as the pool is not grounded. The pool will remain closed until 30 minutes after the last lightning strike or sound of thunder.
